All events called by Efficiency Maine are expected to last 3 hours. Most battery systems can only sustain full power discharge for about an hour. By reducing the power output during an event, WeaveGrid improves the chances that the battery system will help reduce peak load when it occurs. This approach does not impact the potential incentives you will receive, as we still maximize the total energy and power discharged during an event.
